The fair will take place at the Boyce Farmers' Market on George Street. The Fair will take place from 9:00AM - 4:00PM We are asking for the support of the Fredericton community, which offers a wealth of diversity in all areas. We define 'culture' in the broad sense of the word. When we say 'multicultural', this can include different ethnic groups, religious groups, gender groups, age groups, learning styles, teaching styles, musical and artistic styles, people with disabilities, people with special talents, and the list goes on and on. A Multicultural Fair is an excellent opportunity to teach and learn about each other, from each other. It is also an opportunity to bring the many different 'groups' in Fredericton together for a common cause: to celebrate our differences and discover our similarities. We are looking for individuals, groups, organizations, and sponsors to help make this event a success. The Fair will include booths where people can share information, food, pictures, music, clothing, ideas, experiences, and opportunities related to the many 'cultures' and 'sub-cultures' that make up our community. We are also looking for people to perform. This can include music, dance, speakers, poetry, skits, presentations, story-telling, sharing of experiences, and slide shows.
