Mesh Skirt

This is an old Turkish postcard. I don't know the date, or the name of photographer or dancer (who has appeared on other Turkish postcards). I like the dancer's bra, but I don't think I like the skirt. I think mesh might look nicer in a very full skirt, where I could get the illusion of translucence, rather than the absolute sheer look I see here.

Mesh skirts were popular during the 1960s in Turkey.
