Le Butin

This is a French etching from 1893 called "Le Butin" (The Booty). It shows three women taken captive for a harem. The engraving was created by Eugene-André Champollion from a painting by Georges Rochegrosse.

The harem theme was common in Victorian art, showing exotic places and forbidden sexual undertones.
