Did Jesus have a bellybutton? Why or why not?
- I'm sure he did, and not only was it pierced, but his favorite bit of jewelry to wear in it was a cross earring.
But for some reason, that gave him a terribly ominous sense of forboding. This helped him develop his
oh-so-depressed demeanor, so necessary for the True Goth Look.

- Sure Jesus had a Belly-Button. Anyone with a mom has a belly button. The only guy who didn't was Adam.
--Ben
- Of course he must have had a bellybutton! Immaculate conception or no, he was still carried in his mother's womb
(or so we are told) and so must have received nourishment in the normal way... which if I recall my health education
classes correctly, has something to do with nutrient-rich blood (how interesting...) being passed to the fetus
through this strange stomach tube. But this raises other questions...
Was it an innie or an outie?
Did the Son of God suffer the indignity of bellybutton lint?
Was it pierced?
--Thornleaf
- Yep and i think if He were alive to day He'd probably have it pierced or maybe tattooed!

- the question that i want to know is why, if he did have one, he never got it pierced?? AND....was it an
outie??? YUK!!!
--Gerard
- im not sure if jesus had a bellybutton but does it matter. And how can u ask if jesus had a bellybutton if u dont
even knoiw hes there. But im sure he did if there is a such thing as jesus
--Zimzum
- Was he human? Or course he had a belly- button....even though he was the sun of God. I'm pretty sure.
--KatVirus
- yeah, Christ would have had a belly button.....he was human, afterall....the only 2 people w/out bellybuttons
would be Adam and Eve.

(Nope. There's some chickie in Australia without one. As soon as I find the URL, I'll list it for you people.
It's quite entertaining. -- The ShanMonster)
- Yes, I'm sure. Because Mary delivered Yesus

- Of course Jesus had a belly button! His dad may have been God, but He was still born of Mary, a mortal woman,
which means he came with an umbilical cord attached just like the rest of us.
--Cassius
- Of course he did. Jesus was human. For him to forfill the prophecy he had tobe born like an other person. Mary
was impregnated by the Holy Spirit. She had labor pain like every other woman. Jesus came to die for our sins, the
only way he could die is if he was human, born of a natural birth. The only man that did not have a bellybotton was
Adam. Don't forget that Jesus Loves you and that you sould not really concern your self with wheither or not Jesus
had a bellybotton. He died on the cross for your sins and that's what is important. John 3:16. Take care and God
Bless!

(So if Mary had had a C-section, Jesus' holiness would have been null and void. You heard it here, folks! - The

- Yes Jesus had a belly button.I believe the Vatican posses the preserved umbillical cord and is striving to
perfect cloning so they can bring jesus back. Then they will only need to figure out what part of jesus's genetic
makeup is Mary's and the rest must be the almighty's. Dr.Seed (that's his name, really) has vowed to successfully
clone humans. He believes it is mans devine destiny to become one with it's creator and cloning is a step in that
direction.
--DarknHip
- yes he did because a bellybutton is formed by the umbilical cord which jesus would still have.

(Gee... I wonder where he keeps it? - The ShanMonster)
