What was Jesus' most treasured possession?

  • Jesus probably had a small pecker -- That's why I think his loincloth (which he is almost never without) was his most treasured possession.
    --Paul A Lewis

  • Mary Magdeline-- even Jesus needed some lovin' that included more than hands, well sometimes he was all about hands. Mary was his bitch.

  • From what I can gather. Jesus made a point that material possesions didn't amount to nothing. Turning over tables at the synogoge (I hope thats how you spell it), Store not treasures here on earth but up in heaven, It is easyer for a camel to enter through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter through the gates of heaven. I think that the big guy had spirituallity in mind more than possesions. Yet, Jesus was human, my best guess is that he valued what you and I would most likely value as simple things. May be good morals and values.

  • Well, I'd just have to say, aside from his cross (you know, it's so hard to let go), it would have to have been his swadeling cloth (spelling?). You know, the robes he was wrapped in when he was born. Look what he did with them in his later life. Blood red and pure white. Just rocking there.
And only because eye-liner wasn't invented yet. /;[

  • I think this would HAVE to be his birth certificate. How many other people can claim to be the Son of God and actually PROVE it?
Jesus rarely got this piece of important information out, although there was a lot of speculation about its existence, and Jesus always denied it when questioned.
Proof of this comes at his trial in front of Pontius Pilate. Obviously the Romans had copies of everyone's birth certificates, giving reason for the conversation between Pilate and Jesus....
Pilate - "So, you are the Son of God?"
Jesus - "Your words not mine"
Jesus was obviously very shy and reluctant to let this information out. I mean, his mum wouldn't have been too impressed to have hordes of Jesus Freaks banging on the door at all hours of the night asking to see his birth certificate "just to prove it to my mate".

  • NO, THE BIG C WAS NEVER MATERIALISTIC!! HE SAID, "THINGS OF THIS WORLD ARE PASSING AWAY." HIS MOST TREASURED POSSESSION IS YOU!!!!!!! DID YOU GET THAT? I SAID YOU. HE LOVES YOU AND HE HUNG ON THAT CROSS FOR YOU. THAT IS THE CORRECT ANSWER!! THINK ABOUT IT.

    (Can't think. Headache. Ow.)

  • i think jesus's most valued possession would have to be his hypnotizing skills. how else would he get so many followers? they were brainwashed. and they'd have to be hynotized to see him walk on water, turn water into wine, feed everyone with just a little bread and fish, and appear to rise from the dead. he had them under mental control.
    --Lord SaRa

  • ...had to have been his Seamless Garment. As "tube jersey" hadn't been invented yet, this means that for Jesus to have a seamless garment, Mary must have made a continuous knitting needle out of a piece of vine or wicker and knitted it for him herself. No wonder the guy was never seen in public without that angelic white dress! And no wonder it was considered crass of the soldiers to cast lots for it when he was convicted.

  • Mary Magdalene's shaved snatch.
    --Deborah

  • probabally a cross or something
    --Ambient Axiom

  • His most prized possesion was his stature. I mean hell, he was the son of god. That is better than being the president's son. He could do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.
    --Zack: email | www

  • jesus most treasured possession had to be his beard
i know i love mine and never go anywhere without it

  • The crown of thorns, of course! Possibly the best statement he ever made. The blood running down his face, the pale makeup--I think he wore it inimitably, I haven't seen anyone do it yet with quite his...panache. Also, it's a reminder of that amazing piece he did. Obviously the cross is a bit cumbersome to hang up in your room as memoribilia, so the crown would do quite nicely. Unless of course he gave it to his mom...

  • What was His most prized possession.. Mmm. I would say his little loin cloth, he had it with im always, I personally think he was well hung did you hear the one about the surrey girl? Why did the surrey girl go to church? because she heard there was a guy hung like this(put arms out resembling Jesus) also, look at all the women with horrified faces as they look up his cloth while he is on the cross, those are some women looking at a big shelling if I ever saw some. and poor Jesus he came from the most dysfunctional family of all, his father wont even admit to having sex with is mother..
    --Cruel Angel

  • It would have to be his donkey. It was a bit old and withered, not exactly the Dodge Viper of 1st Century Palestine but it did the business. It certainly managed to navigate the notorious 'Palm Sunday Rush Hour' with ease!
    --Mr. Kipling

  • What is Jesus' most prized possesion? That would have to be Satanism. Without Satanism, Christianity would not be around. (And Vise Versa of course!)
    --JDTel

  • I have no idea, but whatever it was, it wasn't his dick. If it was, priests would be allowed to shag things than whatever they can get their hands on (like schoolboys).
    --VOxley4832
    (Uhhh....)

  • His most prized posession must have been his garfield pez dispenser. Or maybe his vibrator with the V8 engine.
    --fallen666angel
(What's with the preoccupation with sex? Sex isn't very goth!)

  • Jesus most treaured possession's were his. Robe and pair of sandles. Why? Being the early trend setter he was. He started the hippy look about one thousand nine hundred and sixty years earily. He also must have loved the look since. Every picture of him in the Bible. Has him wearing the same outfit all the time.
    --Daniel O'Dwyer
(Out of curiosity, what is your logic for punctuation?)

  • his relationship with god....his bible?
    --SeaTine17
(Do you suppose his favourite part was the New Testament?)

  • "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and WHOEVER comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, THAT I SHALL LOSE NONE OF ALL THAT HE HAS GIVEN ME, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:37-40
Jesus' most treasured possession is: YOU!
    --pquade
(That's a relief. I guess he won't be pawning me anytime soon....)
