Would Jesus have better grammar skills than his average follower?
- ironically enough, your question of the week is grammatically incorrect :)
"Would Jesus have better grammar skills than his average follower" should be Would Jesus have better
grammatical skills than his average follower"
-- Jeremy Meyers
- Who cares? He's gone, he's supposed to be coming back someday, so just sit your ass down and wait for him and
find out for yourself. Plus, the proof that you give is a little to literally taken. He hung out with those
types of people because they "needed saving". I've been through every religion you can think of, but mainly
Christianity, but also witchcraft, I now consider myself more or less pagan. But we all need to figure out
what we want right? By the way, if you email me back for some god only knows reason, My nickname is Panda,
and I'm nineteen years old. About all I can tell you is that I am from Minnesota and I come from a small
town that doesn't take kindly to goths, freaks, or punks. So that makes me the town outcast. I am the only
girl (or person for that matter) in the whole town that dresses goth or however I want. Most of my
classmates and teachers are now scared of me, and I don't really care because I just graduated this year.
But I shut up now, mail me back if you like, my adress is....

(Uh, was that an answer? I'm confused....)
- Jesus' grammar would probably be the same as that of his followers. I doubt there really were set in stone (pun
not intended) grammar rules back then. He probably just acquired what he heard people around him speak, as
any child does. Even if he had some sort of divine knowledge of how people should have been talking, he
probably would have been looked at strangely for speaking differently.

- I doubt Jesus would have very good grammar, considering hardly anyone knew how to write back then. Plus he was
always talking in those huge run-on sentences, and confusing the hell out of everyone.
-- Jolie
- Yes, Jesus had better grammar skills than his average follower. But he only used them in private conversations
with educated people Luke and Pilate. The rest of the time he used words and phrases like "ain't," "'cuz,"
and "don't mean nuthin'," to show how hip he was, and that he could talk just like them.
-- Doyce Dees
- I think Jesus would have excellent grammar skills... You see, the reason you don't hear anything about him from
about age 11 until age 32 is because Mary shipped him off to private school to keep the other neighbourhood
children from kicking the crap out of him on a regular basis. (Turning the other cheek may be the Godly thing
to do, but it can lead to a lot of internal bleeding in the end...)
-- Witch Hazel
- Heck no! Jesus was a carpenter, the only thing he'd know well would be swearing which I'm sure he could do like
a sailor.
