John Parkhurst, Witch-Hunter of Norfolk and SuffolkJohn Parkhurst, like John Jewel had been exiled during the reign of Mary Tudor. Parkhurst spent his exile amongst the witch-hunters of Zürich. By 1590, Parkhurst was back in England and had headed up at least five executions and fourteen recorded indictments. One of the witches executed was Margaret Read.
