Ann, Werewolf of Meremoisa

In 1623, there was a series of court trials in which eighteen men and thirteen women were tried for lycanthropy. A woman named Ann "testified that she had been a werewolf for four years, and had killed a horse as well as some smaller animals. She had later hidden the wolf skin under a stone in the fields" (Madar 270).
